Project Details
Deforestation-Free Finance brings together practical guidance developed by a broad range of partners to support financial institutions to eliminate deforestation, conversion, and associated human rights abuses from their financial portfolios. The design solution for their brand identity features an abstract tree shape that also references financial growth chart. Bold and robust, this symbol forms the starting point of a graphic language that can be used in a variety of ways for form abstract compositions that convey forests in simple to complex tileable patterns.

The mark is intentionally jagged and crude. Whilst it needed to feel at home in the financial sector, the brand needed to convey a sense of urgency and immediacy.
