A freelance graphic designer near Brighton.

I’m based near Brighton rather than in the city itself. That makes me a local option for organisations in Brighton, Hove and the surrounding Sussex area looking for an independent designer with senior-level experience.

My background combines over 15 years of studio, in-house and freelance work. I bring that experience to local briefs with the same attention to clarity, consistency and craft that I bring to larger organisations.

Brighton Veterinary Cardiology is one example of my work for a Brighton-based organisation. The specialist practice needed an identity that balanced clinical precision with warmth, reflecting both its expertise and the care behind each consultation.

The identity centres on a custom BVC logomark that references the rhythm of a heartbeat. Colour, typography, stationery, brand guidelines and website design extend that idea into a coherent visual system. The case study shows how an organisation’s character can inform practical design decisions.

You may be starting a business, refreshing an established identity or preparing a publication or campaign. My work covers brand strategy, logo design, editorial and print, website design, signage and guidelines — so the visual thinking can carry through more than one format.

I’m particularly interested in environmental and purpose-driven organisations, while working across a wide range of sectors. If you’re looking for a freelance designer near Brighton, share your brief and we can discuss the kind of support your project needs.
