Deforestation Free Finance
Branding to help financial institutions eliminate deforestation from their portfolios.

About the project
Deforestation Free Finance works with financial institutions to address commodity-driven deforestation and support forest-positive finance. The central idea behind the brand identity is a chevron pattern that represents both trees and a financial growth chart, connecting forest protection and finance within a single graphic language. This dual meaning gives the organisation a distinctive way to communicate the relationship between investment, supply chains and forests. Logo design, editorial design and campaign graphics form a connected system, bringing the same clear identity to research, detailed reports and public-facing communications.

Deliverables
The chevron pattern connects the logo to the wider campaign, giving the identity a recognisable structure across different formats. The colour palette centres on a vibrant orange, chosen to convey urgency and immediacy around the issue of deforestation. More neutral tones balance that intensity, maintaining clarity and legibility across applications. Direct typography keeps the message prominent, whether in an annual report or on large-format advertising. The system carries through business cards and event materials too, with editorial layouts allowing space for detailed content and outdoor campaign graphics communicating more concisely. The result is a consistent identity that balances a pressing environmental message with the clarity needed for financial communications.
